Yoga, Mindfulness & Meditation is an open level class, welcoming to beginners and those with some yoga experience. Stretch, strengthen and improve balance as we learn and practice hatha yoga poses and flows. Each class will include a short segment exploring mindfulness and/or meditation. With Mindfulness, we learn to pay attention to the present moment with intention, purpose, and without judgement. Meditation, a core practice of yoga, involves letting go of distracting thoughts and tensions and turning the attention within. We begin to experience who we are on a deeper level, connecting to a profound sense of clarity, compassion and happiness.
