FAQ

At Sri Yantra Yoga, LLC, we've done our best to create a website that anticipates and satisfies our students' needs. With that in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, contact us at 724-746-1327 or SriYantraYoga@yahoo.com.

Can I drop in?
Yes.  Almost all of our classes are open to drop-ins! You do not need to register in advance and can begin attending classes at any time. Just arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the beginning of class.

What do I need for class?
We have mats, blankets, straps and blocks for you to use at no charge. If you have your own supplies and want to bring them, please do.  We only use blocks or straps occaisionally.

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes that allow you free movement.  Layering is helpful.

How do I pay for classes?
Cash and checks are accepted. If you plan to drop in just bring payment at that time.  If you are pre-registering for classes, please mail in your payment to the studio to arrive before the first class in the session.

How many classes per week are best?
Based on your schedule, one or two classes a week. Most people pre-register for a class time they know they can attend each week and then some also get a class card to drop in to another class whenever their schedule allows.

Will Yoga conflict with my religion?
Yoga is not a religion and students from all faiths and backgrounds enjoy the classes.

Will Yoga help me to loose weight?
Because Yoga helps people to feel better about themselves and relieve stress, students find they begin to make better choices in regard to what they eat.  The physical body becomes toned and firm.
